Mel Lockwood Charity Shield

1 month ago By Dave Oldridge

Goole AFC and Goole United will once again battle it out on the pitch for the “Mel Lockwood Charity Shield”.

The “Mel Lockwood Charity Shield” has been a regular fixture between the towns two senior teams, aiming to raise funds for local charities and good causes and this year we have decided to support Snaith Juniors FC.

As you may have read in the local press or on social media, local junior side “Snaith Juniors” recently suffered a devastating break in, which resulted in the theft of around £6,000 worth of equipment and damage to their facilities totalling around £1,000.

Goole AFC Vs Goole United
Tuesday 25th September - 7.00pm
Victoria Pleasure Grounds
Marcus Street
Goole
DN14 6SL

Admission to the game will be £2.00 for all ages, with a raffle and bucket collection also taking place on the night, so please come along and join us in raising as much money as possible to assist Snaith Juniors Football Club.

The bar and snack bar will both be open on the night.
